Solving pain points for everyone in your program.

Supervisors / Attendings

Do you wish completing evaluations was easier?

Program Administrators

Do you wish the evaluation process was more managable?

Why choose RECES?
Our Approach
When developing RECES, we were focused on trying to the solve the most common frustrations in Graduate Medical Education.
More specifically, we tried to put ourselves into the shoes of Designated Institutional Officials (DIOs), Program Chairs, Program Directors and Program Coordinators.
The Research
We thought about the investment of time, money and effort each program expends during the accreditation process with the ACGME and the decision process of choosing the right GME software to manage the operation and compliance of their program.
We interviewed residents, attendings, administrators and program directors and listened to what their GME software did well and what it did not.
Our Discovery
Almost unanimously, we found that the lack of an adequate and relevant evaluation system was still not being addressed, nor was the evaluation criteria standardized.
The Results
As RECES came to fruition, it became clear to us and we want it to be clear to you, that our Reporting and Evaluation of Clinical Education and Skills IS NOT meant to replace your current GME software, but rather, to supplement and enhance it.
It became clear that we had created a way to strengthen your GME software in a way that really matters to the residents, that will have the biggest impact on patient care and that will help your GME program produce the best doctors in the world!
It became clear that:
  • We had created a way for GMEs to use what they add on an effective evaluation system that is mobile friendly, easier on the resident, attending and program administrator.
  • Your program administrator can print insightful reports in minutes.
  • RECES costs very little in comparison to the relief it provides in time and frustration.
  • Having accurate information on a continuous basis saves time, effort and money in the long run.
Sincerely,
The RECES Product Development Team

Medical Students / Residents

Medical students, residents and fellows work tirelessly to support the institution. They are, literally, receiving on-the-job training. That training is not being adequately evaluated and not frequent enough. They want to become the best doctors they can be, but they need the feedback to do so.

Medical students, residents and fellows want to be evaluated. They crave the feedback.

Program Administrators

Administrating a Graduate Medical Education program is complex and a lot of work. Evaluating students and residents is the role of their supervisor or attending, but someone has to manage the process. The process needs to be less time consuming and inspiring.
