Dear Program Directors and Coordinators.
My name is Dr. Jack Berger.
I would like to invite you to visit my colleagues at Booth 128 at the ACGME Education Conference in February, where they will be presenting and demonstrating a clinical evaluation software, called RECES. I would also like to invite you to save-the-date of Friday evening, 5:00-7:00, for hosted Cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres at STK Steakhouse, where you will have an opportunity to discuss the state of resident evaluations in America and where more details will be presented regarding how RECES can be quickly adapted and deployed to suit your department’s specific needs.
I helped to create RECES because I believe there is a major deficiency in the way that medical residency programs manage the ACGME-required evaluation process of a resident by his/her attending. My primary objective was to create a resident-initiated process so as to encourage faculty to actually complete the requested evaluations. I also made sure that RECES was secure, web-accessible and mobile-friendly so that cases can be submitted, evaluations created, reports generated, and administration managed from anywhere, any time, on any device.
I am very excited to present our great software and to meet you all in beautiful San Diego!
Sincerely,
Jack M Berger, MS, MD, PhD
